6 of us have decided to sign up for the 1/2 marathon in St. Louis on April 11, 2010. This will be the first big step before the full marathon in October. I will be doing an 8 mile run today. I hope to be at the full 13 miles on my long runs by the end of January. After I get to that landmark I will simply be trying to improve my time before increasing my mileage before the Chicago Marathon in October. Here is the link the the events in St. Louis. Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving.

I’m on vacation. No preview video this week. I am currently at 38-22 on the year. Here are my picks:
Juiced Penguins vs. Pop king’s doc:
I’m going with the Kurt Warner (@STL) lead Juiced Penguins who are on a 2 game winning streak over the pop king’s squad which seems to be in shambles. Look for Lance to suffer his 3rd loss in a row.
ESPN: Juiced Penguins
ILLINISEOUL; Juiced Penguins
Sweatpant vs. Slumberparty
This one feels like a trap game to me. Sweatpants have lost 3 in a row while the Slumberparty have won 2 but I like Big Ben and Brees to lead a charge to victory this week for the sweatpants.
ESPN: Sweatpants
ILLINISEOUL: Sweatpants
Happy Hour vs. Megaman
In the best match up of the week, the two 8-2 powerhouses colide. I’m telling you this is about as close as it comes. Check out the match up HERE. The key will be if Roddy White plays for Megaman. Megaman has plenty of flex options on the bench including Iddai but if White is in the lineup and doesn’t play that could spell disastor.
ESPN: Megaman
ILLINISEOUL: Happy Hour
Oxiclean vs. StillYankin
Alex’s team stinks and StillYankin already has 21 points from S. Smith.
ESPN: StillYankin (by 72 points!!!)
ILLINISEOUL StillYankin (by 102 points!!!)
Geronimos vs. Bollin
Jason Campbell has averaged more than 16 points a game for Bollin over his last 3 games, not too shabby. Alan seems to have quit on the football league. Does anyone know Alan? I think he might have to get an e-mail from our esteemed commish.
ESPN: Bollin
ILLINISEOUL: Bollin
Raj vs. Dream Team
Explain to me how the dream team lost when they got a combined 54 points from Wayne and Fitz last week… I’m waiting. Well thanks. I have to take the safe pick this week as Williams already has 32 points for Raj.
ESPN: Raj
Illiniseoul: Raj

Monday Wrap Up
Posted November 17, 2009 by illiniseoulCategories: Uncategorized
So I went 5-1 this week. Would have been perfect if Raj could have beat a team with 2 byes in their starting line up…
Oh yeah… I WON AGAIN!!!!! Victory Dance will be here soon.
That is all.
